Monthly Sidelines Episode: 1st Thursday of Every Month
Description: For over 30 years, Sidelines has been the magazine for horse people, about horse people. Now, Sidelines adds a voice to its award-winning stories and photography with The Sidelines Episode of Horses in the Morning. Each month, discover the people in the pages through lively discussion and in-depth conversations with horse people from every level and discipline.
Jan Westmark: Sidelines Editor-In-Chief Jan Westmark has been with Sidelines since 2004. At that time she owned a horse farm in Wellington, Florida, where she taught lessons and took students to horse shows—from Littlewood to the Winter Equestrian Festival. Now living in a golf resort in Tennessee, Jan doesn’t have to miss horses and the farm life, because she writes about it every day for Sidelines. Jan loves being part of the horse world and especially loves sharing stories of equestrians—from new riders to Olympic riders.
Britney Grover: Sidelines Assistant Editor Britney Grover has been writing for Sidelines for almost 6 years. She lives in Spokane, Washington, with her Navy veteran husband and their 3-year-old daughter, Aurora. Britney loves life and is passionate about personal growth, healthy headspaces and following dreams—so she enjoys sharing the stories of equestrians doing just that. Though plushie and plastic ponies (a lot of them) are currently the only equines in her life, Britney hopes to someday have a horse of her own—and to share the love of horses, the lessons they teach and their therapeutic value, with her family.
